Twenty-five-year-old Daviya Doyle-Tull came to Charleston Job Corps Center in August 2013 with a need for academic and career technical training. She realized getting an education and skills training was crucial for her future success.
At our center, Daviya received her high school equivalency certificate, completed the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program, and completed work-based learning at Hubbard Hospice House. She was also a very active student, participating in dorm leadership for the Truth Dorm as well as the Safety Cadets, the Student Government Association (SGA), and our center's volleyball team.
Daviya's future plans include the Registered Nursing program at Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) in Charleston, West Virginia. She hopes to become a registered nurse (RN) in the state of West Virginia.
Daviya would like to recognize all the staff for their support and motivation to succeed. Daviya's words of wisdom to current and future Job Corps students are: "Strive for success and never give up."
