Alaska Job Corps Center in Palmer, Alaska

Are You Eligible?

In order to apply, you must meet the following basic requirements:

Be 15 ½ - 24 years old

An applicant can apply as early as 15 ½ but would not be able to start until he/she turned 16.

A student must be enrolled at the Alaska Job Corps Center before they turn 25.

Be considered low income

Have no major or ongoing court issues

All upcoming court appearances, fines totaling more than $500, community work service, etc. must be completed before we can accept an application.

Be in the state of Alaska

Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident

Be ready, willing, and able to participate fully in professional and educational environments

Find a job and/or continue their education after leaving Job Corps

Zero Tolerance for Drugs, Alcohol and Violence

The Alaska Job Corps Center is committed to providing a safe and healthy enviroment for all students and staff members. All Zero Tolerance policies will be strictly enforced. Students who engage in violence, harrassment, gang activity, crime and/or drug use will be immediately terminated from the program.
